Spring Lacrosse Season Registration

Boys and Girls Youth Spring Season (3rd-8th grade) - Registration Now Open!

**Teams are now full for 3rd and 4th grade boys and girls and a waitlist has started. 3rd/4th graders who register after 3/23 will be automatically added to the waitlist and will be contacted during the first week of April if any spots become available.**

 

MetroLacrosse is a community based, nonprofit, youth development organization that uses the sport of lacrosse to teach life skills and promote academic and athletic opportunities to boys and girls throughout the traditionally under served communities of Boston and Chelsea. The spring season is a 10-week program that starts the first week of April. 

Dates
The season starts the week of April 2nd and finishes on Saturday, June 9th. 

Field Locations
Franklin Field in Dorchester (71 Talbot Ave) and Chelsea High School (299 Everett Ave.)

Three Age Groups
Rookies: 3rd and 4th grade

Youth: 5th and 6th grade
Juniors: 7th and 8th grade

Practice Schedule
All teams practice two evenings per week at their home field:

Game Schedule

Games are typically scheduled for Saturday afternoon (10am-12pm) on Saturdays, but can also be scheduled during practice times. Transportation is provided to and from the home field for away games.

Cost
It is free to participate in all of our programs and all lacrosse equipment is provided to registered players.

Boys and Girls High School Spring Season
**Registration is currently closed for new high school participants for this spring (players who have not previously participated with MetroLacrosse). Our roster is full! Please contact Rod at rhenriques@metrolacrosse.com if you have any questions.

Dates
Practices typically start the third week of March and the season ends at the end of May. 2018 Game schedule is currently being determined.

Field Location
Joe Moakley Park in South Boston (1005 Columbia Rd.)

Practice Schedule
Teams practice four evenings per week (Mon-Thurs) from 6-8pm, unless there is a game scheduled. 

Game Schedule
There are 10-12 games throughout the season (1-2 games per week), which are played in the evenings during the week or on Saturdays. Transportation is provided to and from the home field for away games.

Cost
It is free to participate in all of our programs and all lacrosse equipment is provided to registered players.
